1. Definitions
Rules – means these rules.
LPP S.A. – means LPP S.A., with its registered office at 39/44 Łąkowa Street, 80-769 Gdańsk, Poland, entered into the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under the number of KRS 0000000778
Service – means the IT and information platform developed by LPP S.A. which is accessible at the Internet address lpp.com.pl
User – means any person who uses the Service in any manner.
2. Protection of Users’ Personal Data
2.1 The Rules are to provide for the uninterrupted lawful and ordered use of the Service by the Users. The provisions included in the Rules shall in particular ensure privacy of the Users, protect collected and processed personal data and provide for the security of correspondence.
2.2 Subject to Clause 2.3 and 2.4 below, the Service Users shall remain anonymous. Information included in system logs (i.e. IP addresses) shall be used by LPP S.A. only for technical purposes related to server administration.
2.3 The Service Users may provide the Recruitment Team of LPP S.A. with data related to the recruitment process, in particular by sending files with recruitment documents using a special form for that purpose that is available at lpp.com.pl or by sending data and files to e-mail addresses given in recruitment advertisements. Performance of actions that are referred to in the previous sentence shall simultaneously denote an expression of consent to processing of the User’s personal data for the purposes of the recruitment process in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws, No. 133, item 883). LPP S.A. reserves for itself the right to store Users’ data obtained in that way in the database that is used for the current and future purposes of recruitment processes, and also to contact the Users using telephone numbers, addresses and e-mails.
2.4 The Users may contact the Recruitment Team of LPP S.A. and other departments of the Company using for that purpose forms that have been made available in the Service. Data that have been provided by the User in such way shall be processed in compliance with the the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 solely for the purpose of providing answers to questions asked.
2.5 Users of the Investor Relations section of the Service shall have the right to voluntary subscription to the newsletter. To receive the newsletter the User shall have to sign up in the e-mail address database in the Investor Relations tab and confirm the activating link sent to the e-mail address given. Subscribers to the newsletter will receive information concerning the Company’s current and periodic reports. The User shall have the right to cancel the subscription by deregistering from the address database.
2.6 All Service Users shall have the right to request discontinuance of processing and/or removal of their data.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 LPP S.A. hereby informs that the Service contains or uses assets protected by copyright, trademarks and other original materials, in particular texts, photographs, artwork, and video footage. Selection and layout of the contents presented in the Service shall itself constitute an item for protection under copyright and law.
3.2 Users of the Service are entitled to use, free of charge, its content solely for their own, personal purpose by displaying such content on the screen (this provision does not apply to materials provided in the For Media tab). Any other forms of using the provided content, without the prior written consent of the authorised entity, shall be forbidden. In particular, copying, making changes, sending, presenting in public, and any other use of such content for commercial purposes shall require the prior consent of LPP S.A. expressed in writing.
4. Final Provisions
4.1 Any inquiries from the Users concerning the Service shall be sent to the following e-mail address: lpp@lpp.com.pl
4.2 LPP S.A. reserves for itself the right to introduce amendments to the Privacy Policy. Any amendments made shall not affect the basic principle: www.lpp.com.pl does not sell and shall not disclose the personal data or addresses of the clients/users of its services to third persons.
